The ideal candidate should have strong experience in RPGLE application support, incident management, troubleshooting, and production monitoring in a 24x7 support environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide production support for RPGLE-based applications running on IBM i (AS/400) systems.\nMonitor application performance and proactively address production issues.\nAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents, defects, and performance bottlenecks.\nPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.\nWork closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve production issues.\nSupport batch job monitoring, job scheduling, and production deployments.\nHandle service requests, incidents, and change management activities as per SLAs.\nMaintain support documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.\nParticipate in on-call and shift support activities.\nRequired Skills\n4+ years of hands-on experience in RPGLE Production Support.\nStrong knowledge of IBM i (AS/400) platform.\nExperience with RPGLE, CLLE, DB2/400, SQL, Query/400.\nGood understanding of batch processing, job scheduling, and production monitoring.\nExperience in incident management, problem management, and change management processes.\nAbility to perform log analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.\nFamiliarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred Skills\nKnowledge of ITIL processes.\nExposure to banking, financial services, insurance, or retail applications.\nExperience working in a 24x7 production support environment.\nShift & Work Requirements\n5 Days Work from Office is mandatory from the client location.\nNight Shift Requirement: 1 week every month, including weekends.\nShift Timing: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.\nShift Allowance: Applicable during the assigned night shift week.\nS YNECHRON’S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT\nDiversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
