This role requires a strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and the ability to optimize for management, security, and cost.\nYour Essential skills & experience:\nMinimum 8+ years of experience with expert level knowledge,\n\nPractical industry experience in AWS cloud solutions.\n\nProficiency in core AWS services and concepts.\n\nSolid knowledge in specialized AWS services.\n\nMachine Learning and AI services - Amazon Textract, Amazon Bedrock, Sagemaker, Amazon Q\n\nExperience enabling AI capabilities on a cloud platform (eg: Bedrock, Sagemaker etc)\n\nStrong programming skills in Python or another modern programming language.\n\nExperience with DevOps and CI/CD services and tools.\n\nMust have at least one current Associate Level+ certification in AWS (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Developer Associate or above)\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, build, and migrate application workloads into AWS.\n\nUtilize core AWS services such as Compute (EC2, Lambda), Storage (S3, EBS), Networking (VPC, Route53), and Database (RDS including Aurora, NoSQL including DynamoDB, Neptune).\n\nImplement management, security, and cost optimization strategies using IAM, CloudWatch, and Security Groups.\n\nApply the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure best practices in cloud architecture.\n\nDevelop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TerraForm, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.\n\nLeverage specialized services such as Containers (ECS, Fargate, EKS) and Machine Learning and AI services (Amazon Textract, Amazon Bedrock, Sagemaker, Amazon Q).\n\nDemonstrate strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or another modern programming language.\n\nImplement DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools like Docker/Kubernetes, Git/GitHub, TeamCity, and GitHub Actions.\n\nAccountable for all Infrastructure and platform related activities across OR&C - Including upgrades, environment provisioning, stability, performance, security and lifecycle management\n\nEnable and operationalise AI foundations (MCP, API’s etc) across platform ensuring all the required guardrails (security, audit and repeatable)\n\nS YNECHRON’S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT\nDiversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
