The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing enterprise application environments, troubleshooting critical production issues, deployments, performance tuning, and ensuring high availability of business-critical applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nWebLogic Administration\nManage and administer Oracle WebLogic Server environments.\nConfigure, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot WebLogic domains, clusters, and managed servers.\nImplement and support session replication and failover mechanisms.\nPerform WebLogic upgrades, patching, and security hardening.\nAnalyze server logs, thread dumps, and heap dumps to identify issues and improve performance.\nProduction Support\nProvide L2/L3 support for production applications.\nHandle critical incidents, P1/P2 escalations, and RCA preparation.\nParticipate in on-call support and major incident management.\nMonitor application health and infrastructure stability.\nDeployment & Release Management\nExecute production deployments and release activities.\nSupport rolling deployments, blue-green deployments, and rollback strategies.\nCoordinate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams during releases.\nLinux & Middleware Administration\nManage Linux-based application environments.\nPerform server troubleshooting, log analysis, process monitoring, and performance tuning.\nSupport Apache HTTP Server, Apache Tomcat, and related middleware technologies.\nContainerization & Cloud\nSupport Docker containerized applications.\nTroubleshoot container issues and optimize deployments.\nWork with Kubernetes clusters, pods, deployments, services, and autoscaling configurations.\nManage applications deployed in AWS environments.\nInfrastructure & Security\nSupport SSL certificate installation, renewals, and troubleshooting.\nWork with Load Balancers and Application Load Balancers (ALB).\nParticipate in DR drills, failover testing, and business continuity planning.\nRequired Skills\nMust Have\n6+ / 8+ years of IT experience in Middleware Administration and Production Support.\nStrong experience in Oracle WebLogic Administration.\nHands-on experience with Linux Administration.\nExperience with Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat.\nExpertise in deployment and release management processes.\nStrong troubleshooting skills in production environments.\nExperience analyzing thread dumps and heap dumps.\nUnderstanding of session replication and clustering concepts.\nExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.\nExposure to AWS cloud services.\nExperience handling critical production escalations.\nGood to Have\nJenkins, Git, CI/CD Pipelines.\nMonitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.\nLoad Balancer technologies such as F5, NGINX, AWS ALB.\nScripting using Shell, Python, or Groovy.\nExperience Expectations\nFor 6+ Years\nStrong WebLogic and Linux administration skills.\nGood exposure to production support and incident management.\nExperience with deployments, Apache, Tomcat, and SSL certificates.\nBasic to intermediate Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS exposure.\nFor 8+ Years\nExtensive WebLogic administration and troubleshooting experience.\nLead production incidents and major escalations.\nStrong expertise in clustering, session replication, performance tuning, and DR activities.\nHands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, AWS infrastructure, and deployment strategies.\nAbility to mentor junior team members and drive technical discussions.\n\nS YNECHRON’S DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENT\nDiversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
