SSI needs to add an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to support our current list of services provided for the U.S. Navy.\nResponsibilities:\nTechnical evaluation and identification of weapons systems logistics requirements and resources.\nDevelopment of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans.\nSystems acquisition requirements analysis.\nBudgetary or financial analysis and control.\nLife cycle cost analysis and control.\nWeapons systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility.\nIntegrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution.\nILS/R&M program management analysis.\nCollecting, compiling, analyzing, investigating, researching, and applying logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data and information.\nDeveloping, modifying, preparing, and validating documentation in relation to automated logistics and maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.\nInterfacing with program stakeholders within the program office, outside vendors, and Fleet Support Team representatives.\nRequires roughly 20% a year CONUS and OCNUS travel. \nRequirements:\nU.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.\nMust have Navy Weapons experience to include medium and large caliber weapon systems.\nBS or BA degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, or Management.Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.\n\nAt least six (6) years of experience in acquisition logistics support or maintenance engineering.\nA minimum of four (4) years of specific experience in technical analysis of logistics acquisition requirements analysis as well as experience demonstrating ability to independently perform ILS studies, analysis, and evaluations in support of DoD weapons systems or equipment, both air vehicle and avionics.\nThis position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance.\nWhat Your Experience Working for Us Will Be Like\nAsk any of our employees and they will tell you SSI is a great place to work with an upbeat and positive culture.
