Because we know that when we bring together smart colleagues from across the world, we can shape the future of healthcare, driving impact for customers and defining the pace of patient progress.\nJob Responsibilities\nPrimary Roles and Responsibilities\nDevelop and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins and Common Table Expressions (CTEs), for data extraction and transformation.\nProven ability to lead client engagements and present complex findings.\nAble to work independently without the needs for close supervision and collaboratively as part of cross team efforts\nExtremely strong organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to details\nEnsure business logic and data quality checks are implemented and functioning correctly within ADF and Databricks pipelines.\nTroubleshoot and resolve data-related issues by conducting detailed root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.\nEnsure timely data delivery by tracking system performance and proactively addressing issues within defined SLAs.\nCollaborate with technical and business stakeholders to support operational and analytical data needs.\nMaintain strong documentation practices to ensure continuity and clarity across the team.\nWork closely with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and understand release processes (Dev to Ops Handover) and have experience on release management.\nUnderstand data integrations with third-party platforms such as Veeva CRM and Salesforce.\nProvide support during shift hours as per business requirements in EST time zones.\nCommunicate effectively within team and across departments to align on objectives and tasks.\nPreferred Qualifications: -\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.\n2-4 years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or ETL processes.\nMust hold an Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification.\nDatabricks certifications are highly desirable.\nExperience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting in production environments\nStrong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills\nTechnical Skills: -\n Primary Skills:Azure Data Factory\nAzure Databricks\nAzure Logic Apps\nAzure Data Lake Gen2(ADLS)\nSQL\nPython/PySpark\n\nSecondary Skills: -Unity Catalog\nLakehouse Architecture\n\nNice to Have: -Salesforce\nJIRA\nAzure Key Vault\nAzure Automation Account\n\nGet to know Syneos Health\nOver the past 5 years, we have worked with 94% of all Novel FDA Approved Drugs, 95% of EMA Authorized Products and over 200 Studies across 73,000 Sites and 675,000+ Trial patients.\nNo matter what your role is, you’ll take the initiative and challenge the status quo with us in a highly competitive and ever-changing environment.
