Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Cloud based Data Lake and Data Mesh environments. Stay current with emerging technologies and trends and recommend best practices.\nDevelop and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions for Big Data Platforms. Optimize data pipelines using distributed cloud computing to ensure that they support high volume / high velocity data streams and are scalable to meet growth expectations.\nPerform tuning of a Big Data /NoSQL environment with underlying impact analysis of distributed jobs to enhance data processing, analytics, and machine learning capabilities. Implement a mixed batch/near-real time architecture to analyze, index, and publish data for applications.\nCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation for solution designs, configurations, and best practices. Provide training and support to clients and internal teams on solution architecture. Conduct presentations, demos, and workshops to showcase solution\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of experience in Database Development, Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Integration initiatives.\n5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT solutions using Azure data integration technologies, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure Databricks.\nStrong expertise in Azure Databricks and PySpark for developing scalable, high-performance data pipelines.\nProficient in SQL development, with extensive experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex queries in Azure-based or other relational database platforms.\nSolid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices, source code management, CI/CD processes, and Azure DevOps/GitHub integration.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nExperience supporting multiple clients in regulated and compliance-driven environments.\nAbility to collaborate effectively across teams to implement and promote data management frameworks and governance standards.\nProven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.\nStrong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.\nDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex data and system issues.\nComfortable working within structured, process-driven, and governance-focused organizations.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience supporting data management and analytics initiatives for Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences organizations.\nHands-on experience with data-centric platforms and implementations, including CRM/SFA solutions and Business Intelligence tools.\nExperience working with Salesforce, Veeva CRM, or similar customer relationship management platforms.\nPrior experience with Veeva Network and Master Data Management solutions.\nKnowledge of Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences data ecosystems, including customer master, sales, and commercial data domains.\nMicrosoft Azure Data Engineer certifications such as DP-203 and/or DP-700.\nDatabricks Certified Data Engineer Associate certification.\nExperience working in Agile environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.\nExposure to Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI technologies, including experience designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered agents and automation solutions.\nFamiliarity with modern data architectures, data governance practices, and cloud-native analytics platforms.\nGet to know Syneos Health\nOver the past 5 years, we have worked with 94% of all Novel FDA Approved Drugs, 95% of EMA Authorized Products and over 200 Studies across 73,000 Sites and 675,000+ Trial patients.\nNo matter what your role is, you’ll take the initiative and challenge the status quo with us in a highly competitive and ever-changing environment.
