Because we know that when we bring together smart colleagues from across the world, we can shape the future of healthcare, driving impact for customers and defining the pace of patient progress.\nJob Responsibilities\nPlan, organize, manage and monitor the work unit’s activities/operations according to the field of expertise, the work plan, and the needs of the division and/or the organization in order to achieve the expected results.\nPrepare, revise and/or approve all documentation related to the assigned projects.\nCollaborate with the Manager of the assigned resources to ensure client timelines are met.\nProvide technical supervision and advice to the laboratory staff.\nDaily interaction with the technical/scientific team and management to establish priorities of assignments.\nCommunicate the necessary information in order to keep the team and the organization on track to the work unit’s work plan, projects, processes, results, actions and recommendations taken to meet arising needs.\nAdvise internal/external clients of the division’s particular areas of expertise by assessing needs and carrying out analysis and follow-up.\nRepresent the work unit, both internally and externally, as a source for consultation and/or information and/or reference.\nEnsure training is available for team members.\nMay be called upon, as a backup to the Bioanalysis Principal Investigator, to help develop the work unit’s budget, ensure that it is being adhered to, perform budget follow-up for pertinent stakeholders and recommend actions in an effort to achieve the expected results.\nHelp develop and analyze the work unit’s performance indicator systems according to established objectives.\nIdentify opportunities to improve the department’s work plan and processes.\nDetermine, as needed, the necessary actions to improve efficiency.\nResponsible for performing activities that are in compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Operating guidelines and performing other duties as assigned by management.\nQualifications:\nBachelor Degree in Science. 3-5 years related experience.\nLC/MS/MS experience (~5 years)\nproject management skills\nRelative alternate certifications may be considered acceptable.\nMust demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word, Excel and analytical softwares.\nExperience in regulatory context will be considered an asset.\nExperience in managing technical staff.\nExperience in bioanalytical laboratory work.\nExcellent communications, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince and persuade.\nDemonstrate scientific problem solving skills.\nAt Syneos Health, we believe in providing an environment and culture in which Our People can thrive, develop and advance.
