Because we know that when we bring together smart colleagues from across the world, we can shape the future of healthcare, driving impact for customers and defining the pace of patient progress.\nJob Responsibilities\nWorking with the segment Business Information Security Leader, serve as the primary security subject matter expert to programs and product delivery teams to provide security-by-design support.\n\nProvide security solution support across a broad range of security domains through:\nUnderstand business needs and comprehend associated threats.\n\nPublish security requirements.\n\nProvide engineering guidance and solution patterns to a cross functional engineering organization.\n\nLead security design reviews.\n\nUsing data and telemetry from security tools provide reinforcement of risks to product teams.\n\nMaintain a strong understanding of the evolving cyber security threat landscape and modern engineering patterns.\n\nAs part of the Security Architecture organization:\nContribute and be the point of contact for Syneos Health’s Architecture Review Board.\n\nPartner with domain security architects to address program solution gaps.\n\nAccelerate delivery through the adoption of AI tools\n\nAct as the security escalation point for delivery teams, identifying risks and blockers early and driving timely resolution.\n\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (please indicate if ‘preferred’)\nSecurity Advisory / Product Security\n7 years’ experience with executing secure-by-design agile processes across multiple large programs.\n\nProven ability to partner with business segment product teams to deliver secure solutions in a clinical setting.\n\nStrong presentation and communication skills for technical and business audiences.\n\nWorking experience with using AI tools to accelerate delivery of security-by-design processes.\n\nWorking experience with common security frameworks NIST, ISO 27001, Hitrust, CSF, Mitre Att&ck.\n\nTechnical\nStrong design proficiency in multiple security domains including:\nModern cloud security for tenants, landing zone and workload architectures for Azure, GCP or AWS\n\nData protection solutions (Preferred Microsoft Purview, DLP)\n\nSoftware Engineering and API Security.\n\nEnterprise Identity (Preferred: Entra, Auth0, MFA).\n\nUnderstanding how to secure SaaS applications.\n\nMobile Device Security.\n\nAbility to grasp new technology concepts and understand security needs quickly.\n\nStrong experience building solution architect and engineering patterns.\n\nExperience with:\nSecuring AI applications (GenAI, Agentic AI)\n\nJira or other collaboration tools\n\nEducation:\nCollege degree or relevant experience in the cyber security engineering field.\n\nCISSP\n\nCloud Certification for (Azure, GCP preferred)\n\nAI certifications\n\nGet to know Syneos Health\nOver the past 5 years, we have worked with 94% of all Novel FDA Approved Drugs, 95% of EMA Authorized Products and over 200 Studies across 73,000 Sites and 675,000+ Trial patients.\nNo matter what your role is, you’ll take the initiative and challenge the status quo with us in a highly competitive and ever-changing environment.
