based in Warsaw, and this is an office-based role.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nLead an engineering organization of approximately 50 engineers across multiple product teams.\n\nManage the organization primarily through Leads and other senior leaders.\n\nDefine and drive the overall engineering strategy and operating model for the organization.\n\nBuild a strong leadership structure and clearly define ownership and responsibilities across teams.\n\nImprove engineering processes, collaboration, delivery efficiency, and organizational effectiveness.\n\nEstablish and continuously improve KPIs, OKRs, and engineering performance metrics.\n\nIdentify organizational and delivery bottlenecks and drive improvements across teams.\n\nPartner closely with Engineering, Product, Delivery, and other stakeholders on priorities and execution.\n\nDrive alignment and consistency of engineering practices across multiple teams.\n\nSupport teams in adopting new technologies, tools, automation, and AI-powered solutions where they can improve engineering effectiveness.\n\nAct as an escalation point for complex organizational, people, and delivery challenges.\n\nDevelop Team Leads and other senior engineers and build a strong leadership pipeline.\n\nOwn hiring, performance management, talent development, and succession planning within the organization.\n\nDrive organizational changes and transformation initiatives when needed.\n\nRequirements:\n\n6+ years of engineering leadership experience in roles such as Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, Senior Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, Head of QA, or similar.\n\nProven experience leading a large engineering organization, ideally 20+ engineers.\n\nExperience managing teams through Leads / Managers, rather than only managing individual contributors.\n\nExperience leading multiple engineering teams or functions simultaneously.\n\nExperience introducing AI tools and AI-driven practices into engineering workflows.\n\nStrong experience with organizational design, engineering strategy, and process improvement.\n\nProven ability to scale teams, processes, and engineering practices.\n\nExperience defining and working with KPIs, OKRs, and engineering effectiveness metrics.\n\nStrong understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices.\n\nAbility to identify systemic problems and translate them into clear improvement initiatives.\n\nStrong people management and leadership skills, including developing other leaders.\n\nStrong stakeholder management skills and experience working with senior Engineering and Product leadership.\n\nExperience driving organizational or engineering transformation.\n\nAdvanced English and the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and senior stakeholders.\n\nAbility to work from our Warsaw office.\nNice to Have:\n\nExperience working with complex products and multiple cross-functional teams.\n\nExperience managing different engineering disciplines such as Backend, Frontend, Mobile, Platform, Infrastructure, or Quality Engineering.\n\nExperience taking ownership of an engineering function outside of your original technical specialization.\n\nExperience improving engineering productivity, delivery processes, and organizational effectiveness in a large-scale
