If that sounds like you, Synergy has a position for you!\nExperience and Required skills:\n5+ years’ experience in IT Engineering or Software Development\n2+ years, direct experience in Cloud technologies\nDesign, develop, tune and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure focused within AWS\nProven experience with EKS, ECS, AMI, ECR, RDS and other related AWS infrastructure technologies for deployment of an application using Docker containers\nDeep understanding of CI/CD pipeline configurations\nExperience using scripting languages such as Python and Bash\nExperience with one or more container tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)\nFamiliar with Cilium and eBPF high performance networking\nDesign, implement and improve security compliant boundary protection and network infrastructure\nExperience setting up Datadog listeners, monitoring, auditing and alerting.\nSet up and manage virtual networks, routing, VPNs, firewalls, NLBs, ALBs, and other network services on cloud platforms\nStrong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider's networking services (e.g., AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, Google Cloud VPC)\nDeep knowledge and experience of different storage and file system technologies\nUnderstanding of cloud migration procedures and automation within AWS\nExperience developing and updating technical, design and security documentation utilizing AWS Well-Architected Framework\nPreferred Skills:\nUnderstanding of API Gateway technologies and SFTP implementations.\nDeployment experience with Tomcat, JBOSS, Apache, nginx software.\nExperience administering Atlassian Tool Suite including Confluence, Jira,Crowd, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.\nFamiliarity with frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, etc.\nEducational Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in IT/Software engineering or related field preferred\nHighly preferred Certifications (or equivalent):\nAWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional\nAWS Certified Solutions SysOps Administrator / Developer\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect (Preferred) \nKubernetes Certification KCNA, CKAD, CKA, KCSA or CKS\nLinux certification such as CompTIA Linux+, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS)\nCitizenship or Work Authorization Required: \nAbility to attain a Federal Government Position of Trust.\nMust be a U.S. citizen.\nMust pass a background investigation.\nTarget Salary Range: Compensation for roles at Synergy is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the requirements of the role; level of experience; education and certifications; the individual’s combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities; as well as alignment with market data, federal and state laws, and other business and contract considerations. The estimated pay range for this position is: $122,500.00 - $175,000.00. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
