See if you fit our diverse and dynamic environment, where we constantly evolve together with the growth of our clients.\nAbout the team\nOur Backend Team works primarily with Scala, Apache Kafka, ElasticSearch, Clickhouse, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (Azure and GCP). Observability is a first-class concern: distributed tracing (OpenTelemetry, Jaeger), structured logging, and rich metrics are embedded into how we design and operate services.\nWhat will you do on a daily basis?\nDevelop architecture and design patterns to process and store high volume data sets. \n\nDevelop software with a core focus around optimisation and performance. \n\nTranslate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design. \n\nPerform analysis of vast data stores and uncover insights. \n\nWhat will make us a perfect match?\nProgramming skills in Scala or other JVM language.\n\nProgramming skills in Rust or willingness to learn. \n\nSolid understanding of Kafka and Kubernetes. \n\nExperience with (at least one): Akka / ZIO / Cats. \n\nExperience with SQL and NoSQL databases. \n\nHands-on experience using AI coding (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) as part of daily software engineering work. \n\nCapacity to plan and scale systems to keep up with incredible growth. \n\nExcellent troubleshooting and debugging skills. \n\nA passion for building tools and automating everything. \n\nStrong analytical skills. \n\nWhat will convince us even more?\nSolid understanding of JVM internals (GC, profiling, heap and thread dumps).\n\nExperience designing and operating microservices architectures.\n\nHands-on experience working in cloud environments (Azure and/or GCP), preferably with AKS.\n\nWorking knowledge of Java or Python.\n\nKnowledge of ElasticSearch/Opensearch. \n\nBasic knowledge of AI/ML concepts. \n\nWhat can we provide
