Follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/Syngenta.\n Role purpose\nSupporting Operations and site management in HSE and Quality duties, directing and coordinating the site HSE & Quality management system.\nWorking effectively with site teams to ensure compliance with site, company, regulatory and customer requirements, and to promote an HSE & Quality culture\nCommunicating frequently on HSE and Quality performance, trends and improvement actions\nResponsible for supervising day-to-day activities of Contractors and ensuring jobs are executed in a safe manner by providing direction and control of all field jobs.\nSupervising work at height tasks and ensuring the execution is conducted in a safe manner with proper guidelines given when Working at height.\nAccountabilities\nImplementing and maintaining the site Quality Management System and applicable procedures, standards and specifications\nSupporting implementation and verification of Good Seed and Plant Practices (GSPP) across seed and plant-production activities\nVerifying product, seed, plant, material and process traceability, identity preservation and segregation requirements\nMonitoring compliance with approved work instructions, SOPs, hygiene requirements and quality controls at critical process steps\nConducting quality audits, self-assessments and process inspections; documenting findings and following up completion of corrective and preventive actions\nManaging quality deviations and nonconformities, including investigation, root-cause analysis, CAPA follow-up and effectiveness checks\nMaintaining quality documentation, controlled forms and records; ensuring data integrity, completeness and timely review\nDelivering quality and GSPP awareness training and coaching to employees, contractors and seasonal workforce\nEnsuring equipment and processes meet approved HSE and quality requirements\nConducting regular HSE and quality inspections\nCompiling HSE and quality KPIs, statistics and trend analyses\nMaking recommendations and driving corrective actions following incidents, nonconformities and audit findings\nProviding HSE and Quality induction and awareness training for employees\nWriting daily, weekly and monthly HSE and Quality reports; maintaining controlled records\nUndertaking risk assessments\nIdentifying potential hazards\nPlanning safe working practices and making necessary changes\nUsing tools to report and alert about any relevant information that may affect the HSE Performance\nEnforce Safe Work Practices\nCorrect Unsafe practices\nMonitor and follow up on the actions and status of reportings\nSupporting the HSE & Quality Lead on all HSE, Quality and GSPP-related issues.\nReviewing and coordinating with HSE Lead the planned activities to guarantee full compliance with all HSE Minimum requirements during the job’s execution.\nEnsuring strict compliance with the HSE requirements. Emphasizing on PTW, Toolbox meetings, PPE wearing, housekeeping, waste management\nInteract and transfer knowledge to local manpower.\nReporting all unsafe acts and conditions as well as near misses and incidents and accidents as per established Company procedures.\nAttending all site planning, progress, and other appropriate site meetings, particularly those where subcontractors are involved.\nCarrying out safety inspections and control on safety equipment functionality.\nPerforming routine HSE audits and inspections\nParticipating to HSE meetings as per planned schedule\nReporting on daily basis to HSE Lead all activities carried out and planned for the next day, anomalies, near misses, incidents, accidents, and any unsafe condition or observed behavior that could be affecting the HSE Performance.\nSupporting the correct implementation of PTW\nSupporting HSE site induction for all new hires\nReviewing and coordinating with HSE Lead the planned activities to guarantee full compliance with all HSE Minimum requirements during the job’s execution.\nEnsuring strict compliance with the HSE requirements.
