Indirectly managed: No\nGeographic Scope: Egypt\nWork Location: Kaha Qualiyobia\nACCOUNTABILITIES\nTrial owner responsible for execution of CP field trials within Egypt in line with specific technical skills in order to generate high quality field trials data.\nContributes to trial planning and design together with projects owner and other stakeholders involved.\nDrive and ensure the all CPD trialing (Early Stage and Development) KPIs delivered on time:\nEnsure that all protocols/trials and trials in the system: BioDesign ARM;\nAll trial data uploaded to the data tool within 7 days after each assessment\n93% conclusiveness across executed trials.\nConduct an agreed number of field trials through all stages from initial planning to completion of final report following the local standards required by authorities.\nManages the relationship with farmer does all the necessary field work including selection of location (according to guidance from project owner) including compensation negotiations.\nEnsures and does applications assessments reports and other activities according to protocol requirements and following agreed deadlines.\nValidates results and give recommendations / insights on performance of tested products and solutions at single or combined trials level.\nSupport the conduct of field trial visits with stakeholders if possible.\nTo care of trial experimental and maintenance equipment.\nIdentification of problems opportunities and threats.\nTechnical assistance to sales marketing and CPD departments.\nValidates results and give recommendations / insights on performance of tested products and solutions at single trial level.\nEquipment and store maintenance.\nEnsure that all operations under direct supervision comply with Syngenta Health Safety & Environment policies and guidelines as well as any other relevant Syngenta or statutory policies.\nHSEQ responsibilities:\nTake personal responsibility for following Syngenta HSEQ policy & standards and cooperate in preventing harm to yourself others and the environment.\n\nQualifications: \nKNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES\nCritical Knowledge\nTechnical knowledge: agronomy trialing specific training in Crop protection.\nSolid crop management knowledge.\nVery Good English (written and spoken).\nStatistical Analysis basis.\nComputer skills (ARM MS Office).\nPreferred to be NEBOSH IGC holder.\nExperience\nAt Least 2 years Experience in CP trialing methods.\nAt Least 2 years Experience of tools and solutions needed for trial implementation and data collection data management.\nCRITICAL SUCCESS FACTORS AND KEY CHALLENGES \nAbility to deliver outputs working across a complex range of interfaces\nAbility to maintain standards and technical integrity\nEngage and collaborating with stakeholders to support Syngenta sales\nKey Relationships:Technical Lead\nTechnical Product Leads\nGlobal Technical Managers\nFarmers and supervisors\nTrialing environment Field Scientists\nSales managers\nMarketing Portfolio\n\nCRITICAL SKILLS:\nIdentify opportunities recognize threats and to be pro-active (problem identification and solving)\nInnovative mindset\nResults driven\nCommunication in English with stakeholders\nApplication and evaluation methodology\nReport writing and interpretation.\nPlanning and organizing.\nPresentations -
