And how we're able to provide our incredible talent with an innovative culture and great benefits.\n\nWho We're Looking For\n\nThe Software Development Engineer II is a developing level engineering position focused on design, development, troubleshooting, and analysis of Syniverse products.\n\nThis role is responsible for defining, participating in, and supporting all required testing activities to ensure all developing process and controls are adhered to and completed in a timely manner.\n\nSome Of What You'll Do\n\nScope of the Role:\n\nDirect Reports: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports \n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesigns, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products \nConsult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements, or resolve customer problems. \n Assisting  peers in product and systems technical details, management of issues and all aspects of the respective role \nCoordinate installation of Software System/Releases/Builds \nModify existing software to correct errors, to adapt it to new hardware, or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. \nShould manage issues of differing stages of investigation and priority with Inputs from team members \nEnsure software security by developing programs to actively monitor the sharing of private information \nMaintain technical expertise by keeping abreast of technologies as they apply to Syniverse products and services. Execute post release health checks \nTimely escalations, follow-ups and responses \nAnalyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. \nPrepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status. \n\nExperience, Education, And Certifications\n\nBachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology (B.E/ B.Tech) and/or postgraduate of computer science (M.Sc./MCA) with basic knowledge in JAVA, Unix, Shell Scripting, RDBMS concepts, PL/SQL \n3+ years of relevant professional experience in the areas of application support, programming languages, software development into java spring boot, Apache Kafka, mongo db., stream, Rest API, Microservices\nWorking technical experience with designing, building, installing, in coding, testing, supporting, troubleshooting, configuring, and supporting Unix servers and storage servers and management software \nUnderstands some basics of AI as in LLM, Usage of calling Claude, OpenAI, Gemini , AI Agent Basics would be good to have skills \n\nAdditional Requirements\n\nWorking knowledge of  Java, J2EE, UNIX, Oracle Database and SQL    \nAbility to communicate status updates to project team and management          \nAbility to work independently as well as Team                                       \nExceptional customer service skills and demeanor, along with the innovative ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical clients \nExcellent analytical, multitasking, detail orientation and familiarity with testing and troubleshooting techniques.     \nStrong troubleshooting and error analysis skills. \nContinuous improvement mindset \n\nWhy You Should Join Us\n\nJoin us as we write a new chapter, guided by world-class leadership.
