You combine strong customer quality leadership with deep semiconductor expertise and a solid understanding of digital and/or mixed-signal IP development, verification, integration, and signoff methodologies.\nYou are a trusted customer advocate who can drive cross-functional alignment, lead complex quality initiatives, and strengthen product quality, customer satisfaction, and execution performance.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nServe as the Customer Quality Champion for assigned strategic customers, building trusted relationships, representing the voice of the customer, and driving successful outcomes.\nDevelop deep understanding of customer workflows, product use, silicon bring-up, and debug challenges to assess quality risks, customer impact, and execution priorities.\nLead cross-functional problem-solving and escalation management, driving 8D, RCCA, corrective and preventive actions through clear communication and closure.\nProactively identify and mitigate customer quality and execution risks, translating feedback, bring-up findings, and lessons learned into systemic improvement actions.\nDrive quality operating rhythms and improvement programs through reviews, dashboards, metrics, action tracking, and clear tradeoff decisions across schedule, quality, and customer impact.\nThe Impact You Will Have\nImprove customer satisfaction, trust, and long-term partnerships through consistent quality execution and responsiveness.\nReduce customer escalations by improving turnaround time, resolution effectiveness, and proactive issue management.\nStrengthen product quality and release readiness through risk management, prevention, and continuous improvement.\nImprove customer quality metrics, scorecards, and business review outcomes through disciplined quality focus and follow-through.\nDrive organizational alignment and accountability around customer requirements, commitments, and systemic issue resolution.\nWhat You’ll Need\nBS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience in engineering, quality, verification, methodology, program management, or customer-facing technical leadership.\nStrong digital and/or mixed-signal IP methodology expertise, including development, verification, integration, signoff, silicon validation, and bring-up.\nProven experience leading customer escalations, 8Ds, RCCAs, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives in complex semiconductor environments.\nStrong understanding of semiconductor product development, quality systems, risk management, and release-readiness processes, with the ability to lead cross-functional programs and drive results without direct authority.\nExcellent communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, and execution discipline, including use of dashboards, metrics, status reporting, and tools such as Microsoft Project, Confluence, and Jira.\nWho You Are\nA customer advocate and trusted advisor who builds credibility and long-term partnerships.\nA strong technical and quality leader with the judgment to guide complex customer and engineering situations.\nA structured problem solver who drives accountability, closure, and systemic issue resolution.\nA proactive risk manager who anticipates customer impact and acts early to prevent escalation.\nAn effective communicator and champion of continuous improvement who works across customers, executives, and engineering teams.\nTeam you will be a part of:\nYou will work across Engineering, Verification, Methodology, Quality, Program Management, and Customer Support organizations to strengthen customer relationships, improve product quality, and drive continuous improvement across Synopsys.\nAt Synopsys, we want talented people of every background to feel valued and supported to do their best work.
