The engineer will connect curation controls to Jenkins, GitHub or Azure DevOps Server, Black Duck, and JFrogwhile accommodating additionallanguages and buildecosystems where required.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nThe engineer independently delivers and operates major curation capabilities, covers the needs of C/C++ products using Perforce, enables adoption across varied product teams, and improves decision quality, traceability, and developer experience.\nKey Qualifications\nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information security, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nStrong hands-on software engineering experience in C and C++.\nHands-on experience with Perforce in a production software-development environment.\nExperience with Python for automation, integration, services, or data-processing tasks.\nExperience with Jenkins and with at least one ofGitHub or Azure DevOps Server.\nExperience using Black Duck and JFrogin SSDLC, software composition analysis, artifact management, or software supply-chainworkflows.\nAbility to support products that use programming languages and build ecosystems beyond C, C++, and Python.\nAbility to communicate complex technical decisions clearly in English.\nDemonstrated ownership of complex backend services or enterprise developer-platformcapabilities.\nPractical knowledge of software composition analysis, vulnerability metadata, open-source licensing, or provenance.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the design, implementation, testing, and operation of major curation capabilities.\nDevelop services that normalize package, vulnerability, license, and provenance information.\nImplement robust integrations for Perforce-based development and Jenkinsautomation.\nIntegrate Black Duck and JFroginto component assessment, artifact, policy, and evidenceworkflows.\nProvide compatible patterns for GitHub and Azure DevOps Server environments.\nLead technical reviews, diagnose complex failures, and drive sustainable improvements.\nMentor engineers and create reusable implementation patterns.\nPreferred Experience\nKnowledge of SBOM and VEX formats such as CycloneDXor SPDX.\nExperience with containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure ascode, or cloud-native operations.\nAt Synopsys, we want talented people of every background to feel valued and supported to do their best work.
