You have exceptional technical and interpersonal skills, enjoy interacting with customers and guiding them to success.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nEngage directly with Customers Architects and SoC Leads to gather requirements, understand needs and translate them into compelling technical solutions that address their system problem.\nSpecify architectures that integrate the IP blocks into SoC subsystems.\nDrive customer success from IP evaluation, kick-off, integration to tape-out and silicon bring-up.\nDevelop technical collateral including architecture diagrams, design specifications, applications notes, white papers and other technical documents to help the presales process.\nUnderstand customers target sectors, analyze and prioritize customer design requirements, and provide feedback to the Marketing and Design team.\nTravel (~ 15-30%) to visit customer, sales, and engineering locations.\nThe Impact You Will Have\nDrive and assist the sales team to secure key designs with Synopsys IP \nDifferentiate IP offering by using deep understanding of customer ASIC/SoC system architecture and requirements to develop solutions that make effective use Synopsys IP, Subsystems and Services\nHelp to define the next generation IP products working closely with Product Management and Design Engineering teams.\nProvide technical training to FAE's, and key customers on IP products.\nWhat You’ll Need\nBachelor and/or Masters Degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.\n10+ Years of experience as a design/system/applications engineer.\nExperience with interface, connectivity and memory protocols such as UCIe, PCIe, Ethernet; HBM and LPDDR.\nFamiliarity with state-of-art SoC design implementation: RTL design and verification using Verilog or SystemVerilog\nSynthesis and static timing analysis, physical design flow, testbench creation and simulation, some familiarity with analog/mixed-signal design and verification flows.\n\nFamiliarity with high-speed PCB layout, signal integrity, assembly and manufacturing, and Signal Integrity (SI).\nWorking knowledge of using lab equipment including high speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers and traffic generators.\nStrong technical communication and organizational skills: Ability to understand and present complex technical requirements, problems, and solutions concisely in verbal and written communications\nAbility to analyze, summarize and generate status updates from technical data\nAbility to organize, conduct and coordinate meetings involving multiple teams internal and external\n\nPrior experience in selecting, using, designing, or supporting internal or external IP\nPrior experience in an application engineering or another direct customer facing role\nThe Team You’ll be a Part Of\nYou will be part of a group of dedicated professionals who are passionate about technology and innovation.
