The role works closely with the CoE Reinsurance Operations Manager and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, international environment.\nThe successful candidate will contribute to gross-to-net close processes, support regulatory reporting and management information activities, and build hands-on experience across key areas of reinsurance accounting and operations.\nWe are responsibilities\nManage the month end process, ensuring accurate and timely gross and net close data\nAssist in the month end close process for our US business\nAnalyse output from month end process and reinsurance related regulatory returns, and highlight material issues to the Reinsurance Reporting Manager \nCommunicating with stakeholders and managing expectations effectively\nRegulatory ReturnsTo assist with relevant client regulatory returns and Solvency II, Lloyd Insurance Market and the client’s group returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission\nAssist with US business regulatory return Reinsurance requirements\nBusiness Analytics and IntelligenceAssist the Ceded Reinsurance and underwriting teams in their business analysis\nAssist in the build of the reinsurance spend model and production of reporting\nStakeholder Management\nKey point of contact for finance & actuarial teams\nCommunicating with client stakeholders and managing expectations effectively\nControls & AuditUndertake frequent reconciliation exercises as part of the quarter close process\nWork alongside the client Reinsurance Reporting Manager to support the half year and full year external audit process\nAssist the Ceded Reinsurance and underwriting teams in implementing appropriate processes and controls to manage their business\nDevelop new reports as requested by stakeholders\nDevelop, document and operate controls to ensure data is as accurate as possible\nGeneral TasksDevelop new procedures and processes in line with the evolving business including of experience in completing reinsurance regulatory returns (ideally within a multi-entity environment)\nSeveral years’ technical reinsurance reporting experience, (ideally within a multi-entity syndicate)\nExtensive experience, knowledge and understanding of the reinsurance industry\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field (or qualified by
