This role involves assisting with analysis, reporting, and controls to ensure effective management of reinsurance activities. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their skills in reinsurance accounting.\nKey Responsibilities\nWith guidance and support, you will gradually take ownership of key operational processes:\nSupport the administration of ceded reinsurance programs across:Facultative\nProportional treaties\nExcess of Loss contracts\n\nAssist in managing the credit control process, including:Monitoring outstanding premium and claims balances\nCommunicating with brokers and stakeholders\nSupporting reporting on aged debt\n\nParticipate in recurring forums such as the Credit Control Committee\nHelp maintain reinsurance data and systems:Enter contract data (Facultative and XL) into systems\nProcess and allocate transactions through the LORS platform (Lloyd’s Outward Reinsurance Scheme)\nInvestigate and resolve unmatched or outstanding items\nPrepare statements of behalf of Ceded Ri for recurring Committee meetings\n\nContribute to accounting and reporting activities:Support quarterly and annual processes for proportional treaties\nPrepare data and materials for internal committees\nAssist with issuing payment instructions and reconciliations\n\nCollaborate across teams:Respond to reinsurer queries\nWork with Claims, Finance, and Operations teams\nWork with internal controls and audit functions as required\nEnsure claim movements are correctly ceded\n\nSupport continuous improvement:Help improve data accuracy and controls\nContribute ideas to enhance efficiency and processes\nAssist with maintaining procedures and user documentation\n\n What we offer (strong focus on support & growth)Structured onboarding and training in ceded reinsurance processes, exposure across multiple reinsurance structures (Facultative, Proportional, Excess of Loss)\nOngoing mentoring and coaching from senior team members, learning from experienced reinsurance professionals in a supportive environment\nOpportunity to build expertise in London Market practices\nSupport for professional qualifications (e.g. ACII)\nExposure to modern tools, systems, and evolving processes\nA team culture that encourages learning, questions, and development\nWho we are looking for\nThis role is ideal for candidates who are early in their career and motivated to grow:2-3 years of experience in insurance/reinsurance or a similar finance role\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field\nBasic understanding of ceded reinsurance processes (preferred, not essential)\nStrong English skills (C1+)\nYour strengthsCurious and eager to learn about reinsurance and financial processes\nDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills\nComfortable working with data and developing analytical thinking and technical skills, adapting to current technologies\nGood communicator, able to collaborate with different stakeholders and build relationship with clients, partners, internal teams\nProactive mindset and willingness to take initiative with support\n Nice to haveExposure to the London Market\nInterest in or progress toward ACII or similar qualification\nBenefits\nFive extra vacation days on top of regulation\nSick leave compensation 100% from day one\n3 sick days per year\nAttractive performance bonus based on project performance up to 10%\nCafeteria benefit system with a flexible allowance of 500 EUR per year for education, health benefits, shopping, travel, cultural activities, and sports options\nOvertime fully paid or compensated based on your preference\nA friendly and informal working environment\nWork-life balance with flexible working hours and the option to work from home (by agreement)\nDedicated time for individual training\nMultiSport card\nSalary starts at 1800 EUR and may vary based on your seniority level, skills, and experience.\nReady to go further?
