As opposed to only working on the manufacturing line, this position focuses on supporting engineers with their work and experiments.\nHours:\nThis is a 1st shift (M-F; 8am - 5:00pm) position reporting to our Salem, NH facility.\nOvertime is available (M-F; 7am-5:30pm).\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma/ GED\nIPC standards and specifications desired\nRequired Experience:\n3+ years as a rework operator at an electronics manufacturing facility\nSoldering small bottom terminated components\nSoldering on heavy copper printed circuit boards\nSoldering through hole components\nSoldering using flux, paste, and reflow oven\nSoldering jumper wires on boards for engineers\nReading bill of materials and looking at component storage area\nTaking directions from engineers\nPreferred Experience (not required):\n5+ years in a fast paced, manufacturing environment\nFamiliarity with IPC A-610 (Workmanship), and IPC-7711 (Rework); Certification to these Standards\nExperience with Metcal soldering equipment\nSkills:\nVery good eyesight. Must be able to use a microscope and spot tiny solder defects.\nRead, write, and speak English fluently\nAbility to use a computer\nAttention to detail.
