Als Senior Robotica Software Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp, de implementatie en het testen van on-board software voor autonome mobiele robots. Je werkt voornamelijk aan algoritme- en applicatieontwikkeling, met speciale aandacht voor SLAM, sensorintegratie en embedded software. Ongeveer de helft van je tijd besteed je aan ontwikkeling, de rest aan integratie, testen en support. Je opereert zelfstandig binnen een compact team van circa zes software- en systeemingenieurs en draagt zorg voor codekwaliteit middels reviews, unit- en integratietesten. De developmentomgeving bestaat uit C++, Python en ROS/ROS2 op Linux, met Git en CMake als tooling. Integrale tests vinden plaats in een prototypingfaciliteit in Bleskensgraaf en bij klanten.

Functie-inhoud

  • Ontwerpen, implementeren en testen van on-board software voor autonome mobiele robots, met nadruk op algoritmes en applicaties.
  • Onderhouden en doorontwikkelen van bestaande robotsoftware inclusief SLAM-componenten en embedded interfaces.
  • Uitvoeren van code reviews en waarborgen van codekwaliteit met unit- en integratietesten en CI-tools.
  • Integreren en testen van software in prototypingfaciliteit en bij klantinstallaties; ondersteunen tijdens integratie en debugging.

Functie-eisen

  • Aantoonbare ervaring met C++, Python en ROS/ROS2 voor robottoepassingen, inclusief development onder Linux en Git.
  • Kennis van algoritmes, SLAM en embedded software; ervaring met real-time constraints en sensorintegratie.
  • Ervaring met CMake, debugtools en het opzetten van unit- en integratietesten voor robuuste softwarelevering.
  • Zelfstandig werken aan modules binnen een multidisciplinair team; goede communicatieve en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.
