Syntax partners with global IT leaders such as Oracle, IBM and others.\nPosition Summary\nAnalyst FP&Asupports the Finance Planning & Analysis function by assisting in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities. This role helps provide meaningful insights to business leaders, supports decision-making, and contributes to the overall financial health and performance of the organization.\nFinancial Reporting & Analysis\nAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.\nSupport variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast).\nHelp identify trends, risks, and opportunities within financial results.\nMaintain and update financial models under guidance from senior team members.\nBudgeting & Forecasting\nSupport the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.\nGather data from cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and completeness.\nAssist in preparing presentations and documentation for budget reviews.\nData Management & Financial Modeling\nUpdate and validate data in financial systems, spreadsheets, and dashboards.\nSupport the creation and maintenance of financial models, including revenue, expense, and cash flow models.\nEnsure data integrity and consistency across multiple sources.\nBusiness Support & Collaboration\nPartner with operations, accounting, and other functions to gather inputs and clarify assumptions.\nHelp respond to ad-hoc data requests and financial analysis inquiries.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline reporting and forecasting processes.\nControls & Compliance\nEnsure accuracy in financial reports and adherence to accounting policies.\nSupport audit requests as needed.\nSkills & Qualifications\n7+ years of relevant experience in IT consulting related industry in the areas of corporate finance, financial planning and analysis or other related field.\nStrong knowledge of IFRS is preferred.\nBachelors degree in Finance/Accounting or related field. \nExperience with budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, financial models and KPIs\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Powerpoint and BI tools\nCapable of working independently and as part of a team with excellent interpersonal communications skills \nAbility to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated \nDemonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity \nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\nEffective communication and willingness to learn.\nWhy Syntax?\nBecome a part of our success story and work in a company with exciting innovation projects that are causing a stir across the industry.
