This role also offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise, develop your skills, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our software solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain high-quality Java Web applications.\nCollaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver effective software solutions.\nDevelop and enhance front-end components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and related web technologies.\nPerform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.\nParticipate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and debugging to maintain code quality and improve existing applications.\nWork within a Scrum framework, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and software delivery.\nMaintain applications, resolve issues, and support performance optimization.\nKeep up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and software development practices.\nContribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.\nSkills & Qualifications:\nHands-on experience in Java web development using technologies such as JSP, JSF, Apache Struts, GWT, Apache Wicket, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.\nStrong knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles such as inheritance, encapsulation, and abstraction.\nBasic understanding of unit and integration testing practices (no preference on tools).\nFamiliarity with coding principles and best practices such as SOLID, KISS, and DRY.\nBasic understanding of the Scrum framework.\nAbility to work effectively as part of a team.\nNice to have:\nBasic knowledge of TypeScript / Angular\nBasic knowledge of Groovy\nSolid experience with testing using Spock\nBasic knowledge of testing frameworks/tools such as Playwright and Cucumber\nBasic knowledge of Bootstrap\nBasic familiarity with CMS platforms (any kind)\nBasic understanding of the insurance domain\nAdditional Skills:\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, both orally and written in Greek and English.\nEnthusiastic about coding, programming challenges, and problem
