As part of our continued growth, we are seeking experienced SAP professionals to lead solution design, ensure delivery excellence, and support client transformation initiatives across complex SAP landscapes.\nJob Summary\nSyntax is seeking a highly experienced SAP SD Consultant - Senior to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of SAP Sales and Distribution solutions. In this role, you will partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP SD solutions, guide delivery across the full project lifecycle, and help improve core order-to-cash processes in complex enterprise environments. You will act as a trusted advisor, mentor team members, and contribute to successful transformation outcomes across SAP and connected systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design, configuration, and continuous improvement of SAP SD processes, including:Sales organization and sales area structure\nOrder-to-cash processes\nPricing and rebate/settlement processes\nDelivery, shipping, and billing\nReturns, credit, debit, and intercompany scenarios\n\nAnalyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust SAP SD solution designs.\nProduce and review Functional Design Documents (FDDs), functional specifications, test scenarios, and user documentation for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms.\nLead SD-related data migration, conversion, validation, and reconciliation activities.\nManage and support integrations between SAP SD and other modules or systems, including MM, FI/CO, LE/WM or EWM, TM, CRM, tax engines, EDI platforms, and external logistics or customer systems.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex SAP SD incidents and process issues, conducting root-cause analysis and coordinating with technical and functional teams.\nLead unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), cutover, and hypercare activities.\nProvide solution guidance and support to business stakeholders, project teams, and junior consultants.\nSupport project estimation, planning, risk identification, and delivery governance for SAP SD workstreams.\nStay current on SAP S/4HANA SD capabilities and recommend process improvements aligned with business needs.\nRequired Qualifications\nExtensive hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant across implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.\nStrong expertise in enterprise structure and sales area configuration.\nDeep knowledge of sales document types, item categories, schedule line categories, and copy controls.\nProven experience with complex pricing procedures, condition techniques, and pricing enhancements.\nStrong understanding of delivery, shipping, transportation, and billing processes.\nExperience with credit and debit memo processes, returns, free goods, and intercompany sales.\nSolid knowledge of SAP SD integration with MM, FI/CO, and logistics processes.\nExperience leading data migration and data-load activities using relevant SAP tools and methodologies.\nProven ability to create high-quality functional documentation and work effectively with ABAP developers on enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows.\nExperience with EDI, IDocs, APIs, and integration platforms; knowledge of EDICOM and export processes is highly desirable.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.\nAbility to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and provide guidance to junior team members.\nProficiency in English is necessary for client-facing implementation activities across multiple regions.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA Sales, including Fiori applications and modern output-management capabilities.\nKnowledge of advanced pricing, settlement management, trade-related processes, or customer-specific SD enhancements.\nFamiliarity with SAP TM, EWM, GTS, CRM, or third-party tax and logistics integrations.\nExperience in global or multi-country SAP deployments, including export and compliance-related sales processes.\nExperience working in Agile and hybrid project-delivery environments.\nAn appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.\nEducation & Certifications\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\nSAP certification in Sales and Distribution or SAP S/4HANA is preferred.\nAdditional SAP certifications in logistics, integration, or related functional areas are a plus.\nWhy Syntax?\nBecome a part of our success story and work in a company with exciting innovation projects that are causing a stir across the industry.
