The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP security solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards. This role requires excellent analytical skills, deep knowledge of SAP systems, and the ability to collaborate across teams to safeguard critical enterprise data.\nKey Responsibilities:\nRoles & Authorizations Management:\no Design, develop, and maintain SAP roles and authorizations to ensure appropriate access control across SAP systems.\no Analyze business requirements and translate them into security solutions.\no Perform role testing and validation to ensure proper functionality.\nUser Access Management:\no Manage user provisioning and de-provisioning processes in SAP systems.\no Ensure segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance with organizational security policies.\no Monitor and resolve access-related issues and conflicts.\nSAP Security Administration:\no Configure and enforce security policies within SAP systems.\no Conduct regular audits and reviews of SAP security settings.\no Implement security patches and updates as needed.\nCompliance & Risk Management:\no Ensure compliance with GDPR, SOX, and other regulatory requirements.\no Identify and mitigate security risks within SAP environments.\no Collaborate with auditors and provide documentation for security reviews.\nCollaboration & Support:\no Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.\no Provide training and support to end-users on SAP security best practices.\no Assist in incident response and troubleshooting for security-related issues.\nQualifications & Skills Required:\nTechnical Expertise:\no Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts, including roles, profiles, and authorization objects.\no Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, BW/BI, and other SAP modules.\no Familiarity with SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) tools.\nAnalytical Skills:\no Ability to analyze complex security requirements and develop practical solutions.\no Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving authorization issues efficiently.\nCompliance Knowledge:\no Understanding of regulatory frameworks like GDPR, SOX, and ISO 27001.\no Experience in SoD risk analysis and remediation.\nSoft Skills:\no Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.\no Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nPreferred Qualifications:\no SAP Security certification or equivalent.\no Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g. Xiting is a big advantage)\no Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools.\nLanguage Skills:\no Strong Proficiency in English is mandatory\no German language is also mandatory\nWhy Syntax?\nBecome a part of our success story and work in a company with exciting innovation projects that are causing a stir across the industry.
