Syntax has offices worldwide, and partners with Oracle, SAP, AWS, Microsoft, IBM and other global technology leaders.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nSupport\nInstall, Configure, Manage and Support SAP S/4 HANA 2020, 1909, 1809, 1709, 1610, 1511, 1503, ERP6.0 EHP, Process Orchestrator, BW, BPC, NetWeaver FIORI/Gateway, Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, Content Server, Adobe Document Services, Business Objects and Java Based NetWeaver Products like Enterprise Portal\nInstall, configure and Monitor HANA, Oracle, DB2, Sybase and MSSQL Database\nAWS, Azure, Google Cloud Hyperscaler Migration project experience (private to public, public to private) as well as regular operation and project support\nPerform technical upgrade procedures and S/4 Migrations projects using NZDT methodologies.\nSAP System Copies execution\nAdminister, manage and support SAP clients.\nDay-to-Day system monitoring of a 3 tier SAP landscape.\nDefine and implement Standards, Systems Architecture, runbooks and monitoring Infrastructure.\nProvide support (e.g., break/fix, how to expertise, minor enhancements, monitoring, testing) for business applications or infrastructure to associates or third parties to maintain their productivity level\nPerformance troubleshooting advanced skills at application, OS and Database Levels\nWork very closely with other project consultants (Project Management, Functional, Security, Development, Automation)\nImplementation and support in SAP Cloud Platform, Cloud Connector, Cloud SSO\nResponsible for the setup and maintenance of customer systems\nWorks on Incidents, Requests, Changes, and Problem Management\nMajor incidents and escalations management\nProblem Resolutions and Incident Reports\nStandard Operations Procedure documentation creation, update and maintenance\nPerform backup and recovery using database tools.\nAdvance Database Administration\nQuarterly Health checks reports creation, implementation plan and execution.\nEnhance monitoring based on repetitive events and provide permanent solutions.\nKnowledge based articles creation and continuous updates to ensure consistency and quality.\nCustomer and Internal communication during Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents\nWeekly / Biweekly meetings with Customer Success Managers, Principals and Technical Leaders\nMonthly SAP Security review on the landscape and when applies to provide guidance to customer.\nMonthly SAP Early Watch Analysis and create implementation plan\nSystem Performance and Database Tunning\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nKnowledge\nMinimum of a bachelor’s degree, ideally with an MBA/CPA or related degree +10 years of overall professional experience \nExperience with having final responsibility for the quality and content of reporting for either a division or significant program area.\nITIL training, better to have an ITIL certification. \nSAP S4 Certification would be a nice-to-have.\nOral, written and interpersonal skills.\n\nTechnical / Professional Skills\n10+ Year SAP BASIS experience with SAP ERP or S/4HANA support or operation tasks\n10+ Year SAP BASIS experience with SAP JAVA support or operation tasks\nAS-Java (can be a Portal Java, PO Java, etc) experience.\nStrong DBA Skills (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, HANA, SYBASE)\nStrong OS Skills (Windows and Linux SLES or Linux REDHAT)\nStrong networking skills\nExperience with S/4HANA conversion process.\nExperience in Implementing Java Support Package Upgrades\nExperience in SSO based on SAML authentication.\nSAP Readiness Check report implementation plan creation and execution\nExperience in FIORI deployment options\nStrong communication and time management skills\nExperience with multi-tasking between projects\nMust possess traits of dependability, reliability, task-oriented and focused, ability to create 'cookbook', “SOP” and methodology (S/4H Conversion methodology)\nConsultant must show independence, ability to follow through with tasks to completion, willingness to take initiative where required S/4HANA Conversion experience.\nExperience in cloud-based Fiori implementations with focus on a hybrid S/4 landscape\nExperience in Focused Run 2.0 and above\nExperience creating FIORI catalogs, Tiles, Front-end and Back-end security roles.\nExperience in implementing different SAP authentication scenarios for traditional ABAP, Java and Gateway systems/applications using Kerberos, SAML and.\nExperience with UI5 and the structures of UI5 applications\nExperience with hosting Fiori on Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure Cloud Services\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nPhysical Conditions: 1 - Activities normally do not produce fatigue.\nSchedule and Location: Regional Business Hours, including weekend on demand\nPsychological Conditions: 3- Considerable Effort\nEmotional Stress - Normal to High\nMental Stress - High\nRisk: unknown\nCONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:\nPermanent\nFull-time\nWhy Syntax?\nBecome a part of our success story and work in a company with exciting innovation projects that are causing a stir across the industry.
