The role involves connecting SAP and non-SAP systems, building interfaces, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring reliable end-to-end data exchange across enterprise applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nIntegration Design and Development\nDesign and develop integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO.\nConfigure objects in Enterprise Services Repository ESR and Integration Directory ID.\nDevelop mappings using:Graphical Mapping\nJava Mapping\nXSLT Mapping\nABAP Mapping, where applicable\n\nBuild and configure interfaces such as:File-to-IDoc\nIDoc-to-File\nProxy-to-REST\nSOAP-to-RFC\nJDBC-to-SAP\nSFTP-based integrations\n\nAdapter Configuration\nConfigure and support SAP PI/PO adapters including:IDoc Adapter\nRFC Adapter\nSOAP Adapter\nREST Adapter\nFile/SFTP Adapter\nJDBC Adapter\nJMS Adapter\nMail Adapter\nProxy Adapter\n\nManage communication channels and troubleshoot adapter-related issues.\nMonitoring and Support\nMonitor interfaces using:SAP PI/PO Runtime Workbench\nSAP NetWeaver Administrator\nMessage Monitoring\nComponent Monitoring\nCommunication Channel Monitoring\n\nAnalyze failed messages and perform error resolution.\nSupport production incidents and interface-related service requests.\nPerform root cause analysis for integration failures.\nSystem Integration\nWork with SAP modules such as FI, MM, SD, PP, HCM, EWM, Ariba, SuccessFactors, or other SAP applications.\nIntegrate SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA with third-party systems.\nSupport integration with cloud platforms and external APIs.\nCollaborate with functional consultants, ABAP developers, basis teams, and business users.\nTechnical Configuration\nConfigure RFC destinations, ports, partner profiles, and IDoc settings.\nSupport proxy configuration between SAP backend systems and PI/PO.\nHandle certificate management and secure connectivity.\nConfigure transport of PI/PO objects across development, quality, and production systems.\nDocumentation and Testing\nPrepare technical specifications and interface design documents.\nSupport unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing.\nDocument interface flows, mapping logic, error handling, and operational procedures.\nRequired Technical Skills\nStrong experience with SAP PI/PO 7.3, 7.4, 7.5.\nHands-on experience with ESR and Integration Directory.\nKnowledge of ICO configuration, sender/receiver agreements, and integrated configuration objects.\nExperience with synchronous and asynchronous interfaces.\nGood understanding of:XML\nXSD\nWSDL\nSOAP\nREST\nJSON\nHTTP/HTTPS\nSFTP\n\nExperience with IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Proxies, and Web Services.\nKnowledge of message mapping, UDFs, and value mapping.\nFamiliarity with SAP NetWeaver Administrator and PI/PO monitoring tools.\nBasic knowledge of SAP functional modules and business processes.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with SAP Cloud Integration / SAP Integration Suite / CPI.\nKnowledge of API Management and event-driven integration.\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA integration projects.\nJava programming knowledge for custom mappings or adapter modules.\nExperience with Agile or hybrid project delivery models.\nUnderstanding of security concepts such as SSL, certificates, OAuth, and basic authentication.\nKnowledge of migration from SAP PI/PO to SAP Integration Suite is a plus.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.\nSAP PI/PO certification is preferred but not mandatory.\n3+ years of experience in SAP PI/PO development and support.\nExperience in full lifecycle implementation or support projects.\nWhy Syntax?\nBecome a part of our success story and work in a company with exciting innovation projects that are causing a stir across the industry.
