Our plant is located in Saitama (~50min train ride from Tokyo) with around 100 passionate colleagues.\n We are looking for an intern to support our local inspection research and development team at Syntegon Technology K.K. (Japan). As Japan is the global inspection hub of Syntegon Technology, the focus lies on our local pharmaceutical inspection machines.\nYou assist in the R&D process for new inspection technologies, from market research, over specification, development, testing, and documentation, up to creating sales material.\nTopics are chosen depending on your skill level, but may include new vision software tools, new camera setups, new inspections technologies, and artificial intelligence.\n Your Profile:\nStudent in technical fields, such as physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, or similar major.\nExperience in working in a laboratory environment\nGood communication and collaboration skills\nLanguage proficiency:\nProficiency in English Speaking, Reading, and Writing\nJapanese language skills are not mandatory but considered as a big plus\nFlexibility and tolerance to adapt to a foreign work environment and daily life\nIndependent, creative, and motivated way of working\nBasic knowledge in data processing and/or programming\nMust be enrolled at a university or postgraduate school for the whole internship period(6-12 months, from Jan 2027), and we need a document (issued by
