Day to day, you'll run our internal IT service desk, onboard and offboard employees and contractors, set up and support laptops through Intune, triage security alerts in Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, and gather the evidence behind our HIPAA, SOC 2, and HITRUST audits. This is an entry-level position where responsibility grows with hands-on experience, with a defined path to IT & Security Engineer, Senior, and beyond.\nKey Responsibilities: \nBe the first point of contact for internal IT and security requests in our service desk queue. Resoling what you can and escalating the remainder, with documentation.\nRun onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors: Entra ID accounts, licenses, group membership, Devolutions, SaaS access, and the records that document each step was completed.\nProvision and support Windows and macOS devices through Intune and Apple Business Manager, plus Windows 365 Cloud PCs for contractors.\nTriage alerts in Microsoft Defender XDR and Sentinel: user-reported phishing, risky sign-ins, and device compliance failures, with the Director as your escalation point.\nCollect and upload audit evidence in Vanta for our HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, and ISO programs, and help run periodic access reviews.\nKeep our knowledge base current by updating the runbook with repeat tasks.\nHelp deliver projects already in flight, such as mobile app protection policies, Purview sensitivity labels, the internal service desk, and the SharePoint intranet.\nAutomate the repetitive parts with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph once you understand them manually.\nAbout the Right Candidate \nThe right candidate will be a malleable learner who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. They will be proactive, rather than reactive. Seeking continuous learning and evaluating business efficiencies, as you become more experienced in the role.\nQualifications \nA diploma or degree in IT, computer science, or cybersecurity, or equivalent self-directed learning.\nWorking familiarity with Windows and macOS\nNetworking Fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN) and identity (accounts, groups, MFA, single sign-on).\nWorkable knowledge of how phishing, least privilege, and patching are enforced at scale on enterprise systems.\nClear written communication. Your ticket notes, runbooks, and emails can be followed by a colleague who is not technical\nLegally eligible to work in the United States.\nPreferred Qualifications \nMicrosoft fundamentals or role-based certifications (SC-900, MS-900, AZ-900, MD-102, SC-200, SC-300), or active study toward one.\nCompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+\nHands-on exposure with: Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Microsoft 365 admin center, Google Workspace\nCoding fluency: PowerShell, Bash, or Python.\nA GitHub profile, a home lab write-up, or a blog post about a problem you solved.\nExperience with a ticketing system: Zendesk, Jira, or ServiceNow.\nBasic knowledge of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001).\nIndustry experience in Healthcare or medical imaging.\nYou will adhere to our company’s values and behaviors and incorporate them in your interactions with colleagues and customers. \nValues: \nClinical service first.\nCollaborate with our customers.\nListen, respect, learn.\nInnovate to excel.\nBehaviors: \nBe nice. 2.
