The ideal candidate will be based in India and have 5+ years of legal experience, including experience working with US-based companies, preferably in pharma, life sciences, healthcare\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the end-to-end legal function and provide legal guidance to the leadership team and business.\nDraft, review, negotiate, and manage customer, vendor, partner, NDA, MSA, SOW, DPA, and other commercial agreements, particularly US contracts.\nAdvise on contractual risks, liability, indemnification, IP, confidentiality, data protection, and other key legal provisions.\nManage vendor and partner legal engagements, including negotiations and onboarding.\nSupport employee-related legal matters, including employment agreements, consulting agreements, policies, employee relations, and terminations.\nManage ESOP/equity-related matters, including grants, vesting, exercise, employee equity documentation, and coordination with equity platforms and external counsel.\nSupport fundraising, corporate governance, board matters, shareholder matters, and other corporate transactions.\nOversee IP, compliance, privacy, and regulatory matters.\nSupport pharma/life sciences customer requirements and contractual compliance.\nManage external legal counsel, legal budgets, and specialist advisors.\nEstablish scalable legal processes, templates, approval workflows, and contract management practices.\nProactively identify and mitigate legal and business risks as the company scales.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably with leading pharma/life sciences companies.\nPrior experience working with US-based companies is required.\nStrong understanding of US commercial contracts and business practices.\nExperience with corporate governance, employment, IP, privacy, compliance,ESOP/equity, and regulatory matters.\nExperience working with US customers, vendors, employees, or cross-border transactions is strongly preferred.\nStrong commercial contract drafting and negotiation skills.\nAbility to independently manage matters end-to-end and work closely with senior leadership.\nStrong business judgment, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.\nExperience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a
