Application Support

We are looking for a Tech Lead Application Support with strong experience in Linux environments, production support, and IT infrastructure to join a challenging project within the banking sector.

The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background in L3 support, incident management, application monitoring, automation, and technical leadership, ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of business-critical applications.

What you would do:

• Provide technical leadership in Application Support and Production Support activities.

• Ensure L3 support, investigating and resolving complex incidents and production issues.

• Guarantee the stability, availability, and performance of critical applications in 24/7 environments.

• Coordinate technical activities with development, infrastructure, database, and network teams.

• Lead technical projects, infrastructure migrations, and application improvements.

• Manage application deployments, releases, and production changes.

• Develop and improve automation scripts using Shell and Python.

• Work with Linux environments, web servers, and application servers, including WebSphere and JBoss.

• Implement and improve monitoring, alerting, and incident prevention processes.

• Participate in technical architecture design, ensuring security, scalability, and resilience.

• Support Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), backup procedures, and business continuity activities.

• Ensure compliance with ITIL processes, SLAs, and security standards.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure operational continuity.

What you need to bring:

• 6+ years of experience in Linux environments, Application Support, or Production Support.

• Previous experience in technical leadership or coordination of technical teams/projects.

• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.

• Solid experience in L3 support, troubleshooting, and incident management.

• Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python.

• Experience with application servers and web servers, such as WebSphere, JBoss, or similar.

• Knowledge of SSL certificates, security configurations, and infrastructure architecture.

• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.

• Knowledge of deployment processes, release management, and change management.

• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA management.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

• English B2 or higher.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Windows Server.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

• Experience with Control-M or other job scheduling tools.

• Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector.

• Experience with infrastructure migrations and technical architecture improvements.
