This position is responsible for processing and posting of customer invoices and payments and other related A/R (Accounts Receivable) functions as well as other tasks assigned by the supervisor.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nReceive, reconcile and process all customer invoices.\nCorrect/resolve invoice discrepancies/issues.\nReconcile short pays and skipped invoices\nScan/File all customer invoices\nApply cash/checks to customer accounts\nPrint, email customer A/R (Accounts Receivable) Statements\nPrepare A/R (Accounts Receivable) reporting. (monthly, ad hoc, etc)\nCollaborate regularly with sales team in reconciling customer balances and on collection efforts\nAssist with all aspects of the accounting and finance departments as needed\nOther tasks assigned by financial lead.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma\nBachelor’s or Associates Degree in Finance or Accounting Preferred\nExperience\nEntry level position\n1 year accounting knowledge preferred\nProfessional Skills\nProficient computer skills with emphasis on Word and Excel (Excel skills highly valuable).\nStrong comfort level interacting with both customers and sales\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nMust be able to read, write and speak English\nMust be able to analyze data and draw logical conclusions and recommendations from the data\nOVERVIEW:\nSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
