We deliver opportunities - to ourselves and to our colleagues ensuring that we can all thrive in work and beyond.\nWe are now looking for new talent to join us as we continue to grow, innovate and deliver.\nButchery Operative- Dublin\nWe are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Butchery Operative- Dublin a role which will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here are Sysco - keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.\nThe role requires a candidate who will be:\nCollaborative and a good team player\nSelf-motivated and results driven\nEager to expand Knowledge and Skills\nIf you are ready for a challenge, we want to hear from you.\nApply today and discover what your career could look like with Sysco Ireland.\nKey Accountabilities:\nDevelop a good working knowledge of product, placement, and inventory control techniques and procedures\nGoods inwards and stock controller\nCheck weigh-in and product specification\nOversee storage of products, particularly stock rotation\nCarry out end of week stock take for the financial controller\nHealth and Safety of yourself and others around you\nAlways follow Sysco preferred work methods, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions\nReporting damages, accidents and issues relating to Food Safety\nBasic IT skills only required\nHygiene in your department and good housekeeping\nMust be willing to support the Butchery team when available\nInduction training will be provided\nRequirements:\nBe a highly motivated individual\nBe a team player with ability to work on own initiave\nExperience in a fast-paced meat production/ food preparation environment advantageous\nFollow procedures to comply with HACCP policy.\nMust be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, as it relates to the job and the safety regulations\nGood communication skills\nFluent in English language essential (both written and verbal)\nExperience of following food safety and quality procedures and policies.\nFlexible and adaptable\nSysco Ireland Culture\nCustomer Focus: We deeply understand our customers' needs, continuously looking at ways to deliver real value.\nBuilding Relationships: We foster strong, effective relationships across teams, always working together.
