Also performs accounting functions such as reviewing project inventory, job costing, commission calculation & draw balance tracking. Will have daily contact with project managers, general contractors and customers in an effort to effectively invoice projects.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nRequired:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and applicable experience in an accounting or finance reconciliation or billing role OR Associate's Degree with applicable coursework in accounting, finance, or business OR equivalent combination of education and experience\n\nWorking knowledge of Word and Excel, strong analytical, organizational skills and the ability to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and work independently.\n\nExcellent communication and time management skills.\n\nPreferred:\nAssociate degree, 2+ years of experience in sales or customer service experience in an office environment and previous SAP experience.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES\nUtilize SAP System to bill customers\n\nUtilize AutoQuotes and system inventory as a reference to invoice customers.\n\nFollow up with customers on past due A/R invoices.\n\nBill General Contractors (GC) through SAP system as well as prepare GC’s progress billing Pay Application.\n\nReconcile between the system and general contractors progress billing pay application.\n\nTrack retainage by projects.\n\nLearn and use 3rd party billing software such as, Textura, GC Pay, Project Mates when required.\n\nContact general contractors and customers to collect payment on monthly progress billing pay applications.\n\nComplete lien waivers and other GC contract documents when required.\n\nReview project inventory and apply to cost (ATC) items not billable to customers.\n\nProcess customer credits such as returns, sales allowances and tax credits.\n\nPrepare project billing backlog\n\nWork with Assistant Project Managers (APM’s) to obtain vendor invoices required for billing.\n\nInvoice customers for design fees.\n\nFollow up on customer payment.\n\nPrepare, calculate & distribute sales rep commission reports (monthly).\n\nDistribute platinum/spiffs to sales reps (quarterly).\n\nCross train on new customer set up and GC prequalification.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nOVERVIEW:\nSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
