The Delivery Driver maintains accurate trip documentation, handles products safely, and performs physically demanding work including repetitive lifting. The position requires a safety-focused, reliable individual who works collaboratively with team members and transportation leadership while representing the company professionally at customer locations.\nRole Responsibilities:\nDelivering customer orders as per established routes and schedules\nMaintaining a daily trip log\nAdhering to all Preferred Work Methods and Standard Operating Procedures\nUnderstanding, upholding, and complying with Sysco’s policies and procedures (e.g., health and\nsafety, returns, etc.)\nResponsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures comprising Sysco’s\nFood Safety Program, specific for the assigned role\nCarrying out duties in a safe manner as instructed through safety training\nParticipating in various meetings/groups (shift, departmental, company and safety)\nPerforming other duties as assigned by Transportation manager and/or Supervisors.\nQualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:\nAZ (or equivalent) with clean Driver’s Abstract and clear Criminal Record Check\nEnglish Fluency\nReliable and safety conscious with a teamwork attitude.\nHigh level of physical exertion is required; repetitive lifting up to 40 kg\nCustomer focused attitude\nSysco is committed to Employment Equity.
