This role will play a key role inensuring products are available in the Distribution system to support the Commercial Strategy and meet the service requirements of our customers.\nThe role requires a candidate who will be:\nProactive self-starter with a keen eye for details\nSelf-motivated\nOrganised and results driven\nIf you are ready for a challenge, we want to hear from you.\nApply today and discover what your career could look like with Sysco Ireland.\nKey Accountabilities:\nTo ensure accurate ordering of product to support sales\nForecast to reduce excess stock holding, while maximising availability\nEnsure that all product support documentation is received to support delivery\nTo improve profitability within the department on excess stock and dumping\nWork with the suppliers to ensure that product supply is effective\nAssist in ensuring the Replenishment Department meets and exceeds the targets set for it\nMaintain a good relationship with all suppliers\nTo Liaise with Replenishment Manager on orders for promotions and forward buys\nTo interpret sales reports and data and utilise this information to minimise mark downs and\noverstocks, freeze down and dump\nRequirements:\nExcellent PC Skills and Systems Knowledge\nExcel and knowledge of AX and MRP advantageous however training will be provided\nStrong numerical and analytical skills required\nStrong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills\nFlexible, innovative, and creative in their attitudes to all issues and areas of the business\nThe ability to analyse and resolve problems effectively and efficiently\nThe successful candidate must also be an excellent team player and be willing to interact\nwith both customers and suppliers\nCandidate must be willing to work weekends, bank holidays and outside core office hours\nSysco Ireland Culture\nCustomer Focus: We deeply understand our customers' needs, continuously looking at ways to deliver real value.\nBuilding Relationships: We foster strong, effective relationships across teams, always working together.
