Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors\nPay : $38 /HR, depends on experience\n\nShift Availability : Monday - Friday 6 AM to 2:30 PM\n\nOutstanding benefits -www.syscobenefits.com Excellent full time career with a stable and growing company\n\nMove your Career FORWARD with SYSCO FOODS!\n\nJOB SUMMARY\nThis is an operations position responsible for overseeing the safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance activities associated with general maintenance and repair of the facility, automatic retrieval systems, dock equipment, minor repair of electrical devices, plumbing, fleet shop, refrigeration system operator and security.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPerforms the duties of Facility Technician III\nPerforms moderate supervisory roles when Fleet and Facility Manager or Facility Manager are not accessible\nExpressed desire to advance to management positions of greater authority\nDemonstrates clear and concise decision-making skills related to fleet repair and availability of fleet for operations teams\nProvides clear communication and reporting to Fleet Manager daily\nOperates competently within designated parameters and communicates upward before exceeding those parameters.\nMentor, teach and share expertise with Facility Technician I, II, and III to aid in their development to positions of greater responsibility\nDemonstrate an understanding and adherence to all work safety policies, procedures, and governing requirements\nKnowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage)\nKnowledge of OSHA general industry electrical safety standards; Title 29\nKnowledge of NFPA 70 National electrical code and NFPA 70E electrical safety requirements\nProficient in electrical meter testing\nKnowledge of OSHA electrical Arc Flash requirements\nUnderstanding and working knowledge of PLC’s (Programming Logic Controller) and PLC troubleshooting, conduit bending, motors, and motor control center knowledge, motor start knowledge, contactor and relay knowledge and repair, refrigeration operator I\nComplete welding projects as needed\nCompletes all special projects associated with building or grounds, as requested including but not limited to moving furniture or fixtures, changing lights, completing basic maintenance and repair needs to ensure timely completion of all maintenance needs.\nPerform general building maintenance which includes but not limited to carpentry, painting, plumbing, changing of light bulbs, repair of electrical devices,\nMaintain facility assets through scheduled preventative maintenance and repair activities including but not limited to roof inspections and repairs, concrete and asphalt paving inspections and repairs, concrete industrial wear-slab inspections and repairs including joint cleaning, routing and filling, product racking inspections and repairs, automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) inspections and repairs, dock equipment (IE: Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic pit or vertical dock levelers; manual or electric dock doors; manual, electric, or hydraulic truck restraints; dock seals or shelters), inspections and repairs\nResponsible for logging time and materials into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) daily in the form of work orders, P.M.s, etc.\nResponsible for daily refrigeration operator duties including ePSM inspections and logs\nParticipate in departmental on-call program, as designated\nMaintain all tools and equipment in clean, safe, working order\nAdhere to all safety requirements and wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment required by the job\nRespond to emergencies to ensure employee and facility safety\nChampion overall safety in the department\nComply with OSHA, and other local, state and federal regulations\nAdhere to Organization and the Facilities Department policies and procedures including appropriate attire, grooming, and attendance\nInteract effectively, build relationships, and demonstrate a high level of cooperation\nTrain and mentor Facility Tech I and II\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED);\nFacility maintenance tech school (preferred)\nExperience\nSix years of industrial facility and ASRS maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and related experience\nRefrigeration Operator I / RETA: CARO\nRefrigeration Operator II / RETA: CIRO (preferred)\n1-year experience in a leadership role (preferred)\n Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations\nMust possess a valid state Driver’s License and provide proof of liability coverage meeting Company standards.\nComplete a Sysco approved the defensive driving program\nObtain a Powered Industrial Equipment Certification from Sysco within 3 months\nElectrical Arc Flash training (preferred)\nTrade electrical I & II training (preferred)\nRETA CARO required\nRETA CIRO in addition to RETA CARO (preferred)\nProfessional Skills\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.\nAbility to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nPhysical Demands\nRegularly required to talk or hear.
