This includes maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area while efficiently completing packing or processing tasks. The Fresh Cuts Associate must be observant, identify issues proactively, and communicate potential improvements to the Line Leader.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n30%\nPerform assigned packing or processing tasks on the production line\n20%\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation\n15%\nAssist Line Leader in preparing and transitioning the line between shifts\n10%\nFollow safety procedures and wear required PPE\n10%\nIdentify quality or safety concerns and report to Line Leader\n5%\nAssist in moving materials and replenishing supplies\n5%\nMaintain accurate records or labels when required\n5%\nSupport continuous improvement efforts and cooperate with team initiatives\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nPrefer High School or GED but not required.\n Experience\nNo experience required, on the job training provided\n\n6+ months in a food production, warehouse, or general labor role (preferred)\n\nSkills:\nAbility to follow instructions and work well on a team\nAttention to detail and safety awareness\nEffective communication and reliability\nAbility to perform job duties that require continuous or repetitive physical activity\nThe role involves frequent gripping, cutting, and repetitive hand motions while working with various types of produce\nBasic understanding of production or packing tasks\n.\n\nPhysical Demands\nReasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.\nStanding for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., repetitive tasks, working in refrigerated environments\n\nBENEFITS INFORMATION:\nFor information on Sysco’s Benefits, please visit https://SyscoBenefits.comOVERVIEW:\nSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
