Though we have always been a local organisation, being a part of Sysco means we have a global perspective that offers our employees the opportunities to learn, develop and pursue the career they have always wanted.\nSysco is the world’s largest foodservice provider and following continued growth and expansion across the Island of Ireland Sysco Ireland are now looking to expand and strengthen our Operations Leadership team by introducing a Head of Operations Systems that will lead impactful projects within the wider function.\nThe role will also contribute to and execute against our overall strategy and continued expansion, while managing operational plans, budgets and performance targets.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide strategic leadership for National Inventory, Warehouse Systems Optimisation, Operations & Supply Chain Projects, and Network Modernisation initiatives across Sysco Ireland \nOverall responsibility of the National Inventory team, Warehouse System planning team, Loss Prevention and Operations & Supply Chain Project functions. Circa 35 colleagues. \nManaging a portfolio of business-critical change projects across these departments \nMaintain financial governance within budget, driving both Group-level and local operational efficiencies \nLead, coach, and inspire teams by setting clear strategic direction and aligning individual contributions to organisational goals \nEstablish/implement succession plans, incl. employee training and and development frameworks to build future capability. \nFacilitate \nFacilitate two-way Communication Cascade across the teams within the remit of the departments. \nLead and execute operational strategy in line with overall Group goals \nDefine and implement KPIs to monitor, evaluate, and enhance both individual and team performance. \nIdentifying opportunities and implement initiatives for continuous improvement in ways of working, quality, consistency and effectiveness of process \nLeverage Sysco’s technological capabilities while ensuring operations align with sustainability commitments. \nPrepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the departments \nRequirements:\n10+ years’ experience in relevant areas \nTrade or Degree qualified in relevant areas \nLives and breathes Customer First approach \nExtremely organised & comfortable operating in a highly dynamic & fast paced environment \nAbility to influence across a wide range o internal and external stakeholders with proven ability to challenge the status quo \nProven ability in motivating, inspiring, leading and developing teams \nCompetent in breaking down a problem, understand the root cause and work with relevant stakeholders on developing and implementing solutions \nHas proven experience in leading a positive culture by example and taking your teams on the journey with you \nIs commercially astute and highly experienced at successfully implementing change \nIs an insightful, data-savvy problem solver who has continuous improvement mindset \nFinancial,
