Also responsible for validating any variances from PO receipts and system status.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES\nEnsure all scheduled and immediate cycle counts are performed.\nVerify inventory and maintains accuracy of bin labels.\nResearch and resolve inventory discrepancies.\nPerform routine aisle sweeps confirming empty locations.\nProcess damaged and recoup product.\nSlot new items as required.\nKeeps supervisor informed of issues or problems that arise and refer matters beyond scope of authority to appropriate parties.\nAccurately record product dimensions, sizes, and weight.\nSafely operate forklift/pallet jack / cherry picker as needed. \nPerform other duties as assigned.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES\nRequired:\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent.\n1+ year of relevant experience with warehouse inventory. \nMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. \nIntermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (specifically Excel, and Word). \nStrong attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to multitask, and prioritize work. \nCan work independently, able to accurately record measurements in number, dimension, size, and weight.\nAbility to successfully complete forklift training and safety certification requirements.\nPreferred:\nPrevious knowledge of SAP, cycle counting and forklift experience.\n#LI TJ2\nOVERVIEW:\nSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
