Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors\nPay: up to $20.00 per hour, based on experience\nShift available: Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:30pm\nAnnual Boot and Tool Allowance\nOutstanding benefits:www.syscobenefits.com\nExcellent full-time career with a stable and growing company\nMove your career FORWARD with Sysco Foods!\nJOB SUMMARY\nThis is an Operations position responsible for performing the computer keying of all maintenance records and repairs on fleet equipment into the maintenance software, answering phone calls from delivery associates and vendors regarding breakdowns, parts ordered, parts deliveries, fuel deliveries, and other fleet maintenance related duties.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nInput all purchase orders into maintenance software.\nEnter all work orders into maintenance software.\nDirect phone calls to the fleet managers or others as needed.\nIdentify problems and propose solutions to other members of management for improved shop efficiency.\nWork directly and indirectly with other departments within Sysco.\nMaintain and review the inventory of parts and supplies.\nAnalyze prices from vendors.\nWork with maintenance tracking software to ensure all equipment is scheduled for preventative maintenance (PM) and other maintenance as needed.\nAssign backhaul pickups throughout the day.\nReceive incoming calls from drivers, associates, and customers and be able and willing to answer all questions.\nKeep management informed of all activities concerning the Operations department.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience\n1-3 months related experience and/or training.\nData Entry experience.\nSAP preferred.\nCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations\nValid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards. \nProfessional Skills\nBasic personal computer (PC) skills and proficiency with MS Outlook.\nUse of 10-key by touch.\nStrong listening and communication skills.\nAbility to plan and organize work tasks for maximum efficiency.\nAble to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.\nEffectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.\nCan add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.\nApply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.\nDeal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.\nKnowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nRegularly required to sit and talk or hear.\nFrequently required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.\nOccasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms.\nMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.\nThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by associates within this classification.
