Support the production team with proper level of trimmed product ready for further processing.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nExperience\nMeat trimming and Knife skills\nBasic knowledge of meat cuts\nWorking in team environment\nSkills\nAbility to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operational goals\nCommitment to work until the job is completed\nInteracts well with others\nGood team player\nResults-oriented and detail-oriented\nCustomer-service oriented\n Responsibilities\nAble to see deficiencies in raw materials\nAbility to identify the product by proper name at sight as well as the ability to trim all loins\nAbility to label /identify sub primal cuts after trimming to ensure product is ready for next step in processing.\nKnowledge of basic cuts and trim that prep table is responsible for producing (stew, roasts, PTRs, etc.)\nSome heavy lifting required\nPhysical Demands and Working Environment\nHeavy lifting activities for this employee\nThe ability to touch, feel, manipulate fingers and limbs to operate various processing and material handling equipment is necessary\nThe ability to smell is required, in order to detect levels of wholesomeness and spoilage\nThis position requires the candidate to be in refrigerated processing and warehouse areas.
