The role works closely with the outbound operations manager and supervisors to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient processing of outbound orders.\nResponsibilities include administrative support to operations, reporting, inventory-related tasks, and coordination with warehouse and transportation teams.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nSpecific duties and day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:\nOrganize and manage workflow using warehouse management, labor management, inventory, and transportation systems, as applicable.\nProvide clerical support to outbound operations teams, including reviewing documents, entering data, and maintaining records.\nPrepare daily and periodic operational reports for warehouse and transportation leadership.\nProduce general communications for distribution within the operations department.\nAssist with inventory-related activities, including tracking, product weight verification, inventory reconciliation, and related system updates.\nPerform auditor or verification duties in coordination with order selectors, forklift operators, and warehouse associates.\nPrepare and distribute paperwork for all delivery vehicles and outbound routes.\nSupport environmental and safety initiatives while operating with a minimal environmental impact and awareness of operational hazards, incidents, and environmental spills.\nImmediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, incidents, or environmental issues according to established procedures.\nDemonstrate a strong understanding of personal safety responsibilities and speak up when hazards are present.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.\nEducation:\nHigh school Diploma\nQualifications:\nMinimum 1-year experience in distribution environment · Exposure to ERP or Warehouse Management Systems is required\nKnowledge and Skills:\nBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate is preferred)\nWilling and able to work non-standard hours\nSysco is committed to Employment Equity.
