They are responsible for communicating with Sales and other department leaders regarding changes to loads and shorts and assist in problem solving to provide a high level of customer satisfaction.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nCreate and maintain databases and spreadsheets, prepare summary information for manager's review\nPrepare and update recurring and routine internal reports, collect and verify data.\nEvaluate current operational performance and participate in the creation of strategic ideas for improvement.\nTrain new selectors in the use of putty system and shorts process.\nPrioritize routes for selection.\nCreate truck load sheets once routing/putty is set up\nConduct pre-shift meetings as needed\nResponsible for locating product missing from slots.\nProcess orders into the putty system.\nSet up truck loading sequence.\nAudit loads\nDetermine if substitutions can be made if needed.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nExperience\nOne year of administrative experience.\nSkills\nType and proficiency\nMinimum Required:\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications\nEffective written & oral communication skills\nStrong 10-key skills\nAbility to multi-task\nMust be able to work with all levels within the organization\nDecision Making Authority\nMost important decisions made fully independently:\nMulti-tasking / prioritizing administrative tasks to complete timely\nHas strong interpersonal and communication skills \nOVERVIEW:\nSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
