It also requires remembering details of products and customers’ requirements.\nShift Schedule :- 06:00 P.M. - 02:30 A.M.\nPay:- $21.25/hr\nResponsibilities:\nOrder Selection:\n Palletize and effectively organize finished products.\nOrganize finish product cooler and put away at the end of production.\nVigilantly monitor product quality.\nCoordinate with other workstations to ensure order competition.\nPut away finish product and raw material at the end of the shift.\nComplies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.\nIs willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.\nUnderstands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.\nPerform other duties as assigned\nTeamwork:\nMay assist in training new selectors on safe work practices and order selection procedures.\nCollaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.\nSkills:\nOrder Selection: Proven ability to accurately and efficiently select orders with minimal errors.\nEquipment Operation: Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and voice-directed picking systems.\nPhysical Strength:\nAbility to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) frequently.\n Repetitive lifting from 5 lb to 50 lb (50%).\nOrganize products including transportation by pallet jack in production area and wrapping pallet (50%).\n Noisy environment, hearing protection provided.\nCold environment (1 to 7 degrees Celsius, 100%)\n May require operating food processing machinery, Rider, Manual pallet jack.\nCertifications:\nForklift certification preferred.\nVoice-directed picking system training preferred.\nEducation:\nHigh school diploma or GED\nExperience:\n2+ years of experience\nSysco is committed to Employment Equity.
