Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors\nNOW HIRING: Production Sanitation Associates!\nJoin the team at FreshPoint and play a key role in maintaining a clean and safe production environment!\nPay: $17.50 per hour\nFull-time opportunities available\nStable work environment\nBe part of a team that helps deliver fresh produce every day\nWhat We're Looking For:\nExperience with machine cleaning and sanitation\nAbility to work in a wet production environment\nExperience cleaning equipment used for chopping and processing vegetables\nDependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented candidates\nIf you have sanitation or industrial cleaning experience and are looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!\nFreshPoint $17.50/hour\nApply today and start your career with FreshPoint!\nJOB SUMMARY\nResponsible for cleaning and sanitizing the FreshPoint Produce Value Added Room(s) and equipment utilizing the 7-Steps of sanitation.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nUnderstand and practice the 7-Steps of sanitation when cleaning and sanitizing different types of machinery, support equipment, and conveyors.\nClean and sanitize floors, walls, and specific work areas.\nResponsible for adhering to all Food, Sanitation and Safety policies.\nResponsible for adhering to proper handling of all produce according to SQF standards.\nMaintain the cleanliness of the facilities property by picking up trash/debris throughout the\nproperty and by addressing all opportunities to improve sanitation.\nWork effectively with immediate supervisor to ensure proper cleaning practices are followed.\nReport to the supervisor immediately any unfixable/unsafe issues.\nObserve and enforce all safety rules to reduce accidents and injuries.\nUnderstand and comply with all applicable company policies (i.e., attendance, Code of\nBusiness Conduct and Ethics, Associate Handbook, etc.)\nComplies with all applicable State/Federal laws, regulations, and policies (i.e., OSHA,\nHACCP, SQF, etc.).\nAdherence to work schedule.\nPerform other duties as requested by management.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience\nOne-year on-the-job production sanitation experience required.\nRequirement\nMust be 18 years of age.\nMust work independently with minimal supervision and have strong attention to details.\nCertificates, Licenses, and Registrations\nCertification in material handling equipment or the ability to become certified.\nBENEFITS INFORMATION:\nFor information on Sysco’s Benefits, please visit https://SyscoBenefits.comOVERVIEW:\nSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
