We deliver opportunities - to ourselves and to our colleagues ensuring that we can all thrive in work and beyond.\nWe are now looking for new talent to join us as we continue to grow, innovate and deliver.\nQA Assistant- Belfast\nWe are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Assistant - Limerick, Dublin or Belfast, a role which will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here are Sysco - keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.\nThe role requires a candidate who will be:\nAnalytical\nSelf-motivated and results driven\nEager to expand Knowledge and Skills\nIf you are ready for a challenge, we want to hear from you.\nApply today and discover what your career could look like with Sysco Ireland.\nKey Accountabilities:\nMonitor the quality and safety of food products.\nHACCP implementation and verification.\nInduction Training when required.\nInternal audits managed and documented.\nEnsure records are maintained in accordance with corporate and auditing standards.\nCarry out product and process inspections and assessments.\nEnsure that all product related customer complaints are investigated, reported and completed in a timely manner.\nReport to Team Lead on food safety, quality and compliance issues.\nVerification of test equipment.\nCorrective and preventative actions.\nRequirements:\nQualification in a recognised food /science/quality discipline desirable.\nPrevious experience within the food industry at Quality Assurance level desirable.\nKnowledge of food related law and industry standards\nExperience in food safety and quality procedures and policies.\nUnderstanding of customer requirements.\nGood communication and influencing skills\nBe a highly motivated individual with can do attitude.\nBe a team player with ability to work on own initiative\nDemonstrates integrity and accountability.\nFlexibility in handling multiple tasks in a fast moving environment\nCustomer focussed with excellent communication and computer skills\nStrong organisational skills.\nSysco Ireland Culture\nCustomer Focus: We deeply understand our customers' needs, continuously looking at ways to deliver real value.\nBuilding Relationships: We foster strong, effective relationships across teams, always working together.
