Responsible for satisfying customer needs and meeting management objectives. Must maintain and grow customer base by penetrating existing accounts and opening new accounts. Visit weekly, provide marketing flyers, menu ideas and market updates.\nProspecting/opening new accounts to meet company objectives and CMP goals.\nPricing and order-guide building\nCollecting past due balances\nAttend all sales meetings and trainings\nMaintain a great working relationship with customer service department and operational teams.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation\nHigh School degree or equivalent\n Experience\nMinimum 2 years of sales, and/or chef/restaurant management experience, and/or related (Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality; or Culinary Arts) degree.\n1 year of outside foodservice sales experience preferred\nRestaurant management / chef experience preferred\nSkills\nProficient in Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook, and some knowledge of Salesforce a plus\nWorking knowledge of warehouse distribution, a plus\nGood communication skills\nDetail-oriented\nDecision Making Authority\nProfitability of a customer\nMost important decisions made with review and approval of other individuals or supervisors (include the reviews/approvals required):\nCustomer credits and pricing\nOVERVIEW:\nSysco is the global leader in foodservice distribution.
