This includes routine quality checks on all incoming products, efficiently loading and unloading products in the warehouse, complete audits and inventory counts to ensure proper management of inventory and stock levels, and more.\nResponsibilities\nConduct routine quality checks on all incoming products to ensure the highest quality and standard on all products received \nEfficiently load and unload products in receiving area \nOrganize, arrange and move product in the warehouse \nCheck deliveries to verify piece count and mark products with appropriate labels \nComplete daily and monthly audits and inventory counts to ensure proper management of inventory \nEfficiently coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless activities throughout the warehouse operations \nCollect information and accurately record data as needed \nComplies with Sysco’s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.\nIs willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.\nUnderstands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nSchedule :\nFull Time 09:00 a.m. - 05:30 p.m.\n Split Days Off (Sunday & Tuesday Off)\n\nSkills\nAttention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when selecting and staging orders.\nSafety Awareness: Strong awareness of safety procedures and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.\nCertifications\nEducation\nHigh school diploma or GED\nExperience\n0-1 years of experience\nPhysical Demands\nFrequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of heavy objects.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach frequently.\n\nTravel Requirements\n0-25%\nSysco is committed to Employment Equity.
