For fiscal year 2026, which ended June 27, 2026, the company generated sales of more than $84 billion.\nSysco LABS Sri Lanka delivers the technology that powers Sysco’s end-to-end operations.\nSysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are currently on the lookout for a Senior Quality Engineer to join our team.\nResponsibilities:\nCreating and enhancing test cases and executing them with limited supervision\n\nProviding constructive feedback on test cases/test plans developed by Junior team members\n\nReviewing functional and non-functional requirements and specifications\n\nProducing test Artifacts such as Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, and Test Metrics reports\n\nDebugging and troubleshooting issues, analyzing root causes with relevant tools, and logging defects in the defect tracking system with adequate information\n\nWorking closely with development teams to shake out bugs early in the development process\n\nBuilding and establishing the overall QE process\n\nDesign, develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing solutions across web, API, mobile, and service-oriented applications\n\nContribute to automation framework development, CI/CD qualitycontrols, and automation-first practices that improve testing speed, reliability, maintainability, and coverage\n\nRequirements:\nA Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or an equivalent qualification\n\nA minimum of 3 years of work experience in software testing\n\nExperience in test planning, test design, and functionality testing\n\nExpert knowledge of quality engineering methodologies, automated testing tools (Selenium/Appium), and continuous integration systems\n\nExperience in QE tools such as QMetry, HP ALM, JIRA, and Confluence\n\nStrong Knowledge of Java, OOP concepts and coding standards\n\nMust be skilled at evaluating existing processes and procedures and making recommendations for improvement;
